Some of us take pills every day. In some cases, they are natural pills that include various vitamins and herbs which helped to keep our body in the balance. At other times, they may be pharmaceutical pills that we would take for one reason or another. There is a pill that you should make sure that you are taking every day in order to keep your body in balance and to make sure that you stop yeast infections. It is a probiotic and it helps us in amazing ways.
It is thought by many naturalists that almost all diseases start in the digestive system, in particular the colon. Unfortunately, it is very easy for this part of our body to get out of balance and whenever it happens, a number of different infections and diseases can easily take hold. In order to keep our digestive tract working properly, we need to encourage the growth of proper bacteria and to make sure that the flora and fauna are there in the proper numbers. The easiest way for you to be able to do this is to take a simple probiotic every morning. This will stop yeast infections.
What a probiotic can do for you is to help to stop yeast infections in a number of different unique ways. First of all, it brings the balance back to our body and promotes the growth of good bacteria which will keep the existing yeast in your body in check. Secondly, it will take care of the problem from the root of the condition instead of simply treating the symptom that you're experiencing of the overgrowth of yeast.
It may seem like a simple thing, taking a pill like this every day. The benefits that you get from it, however, are amazing and will be evident shortly after you begin taking it. There is also a warning that goes along with this because many of the pills that you may currently be taking could actually be promoting yeast infections. This includes things like the birth control pill, which tends to reduce our immune system to a certain extent. Antibiotics also kill the good bacteria in our body along with killing the bad. If at all possible, you should avoid these types of pills and continue checking your probiotic every day.

4 Foods to Avoid If You Suffer from Recurring Yeast Infections
Did you realize that food is often to blame for many of the infections that we are experiencing? This is especially the case whenever we are having a yeast infection but it is not necessarily the yeast that we are eating which is causing the problem. Yeast infections are caused by a certain type of Candida that is present in the environment all around us. It is also in our body, even when we are not experiencing an infection and it serves a useful purpose. When our body is in balance, that yeast is kept in check so we do not typically experience any problems.
If you have a problem with yeast infections, especially if they are recurring or even chronic, there are some foods that you should avoid at all costs. These foods don't necessarily cause a yeast infection to occur but they can keep it alive once it exists. Here are 4 different types of foods that should be avoided by those who have problems with yeast infections.
Sugar - One of the main things that should be avoided when you're having a problem with yeast infections is processed sugar. Yeast eats sugar so if you're feeding the yeast infection, you're going to have a difficult time getting rid of it. Even many of the foods that you should eat for yeast infections, such as yogurt, typically have a lot of sugar added. Make sure that you read the labels before you put anything in your mouth.
Processed Foods - Anything that is processed is not going to necessarily be good for your body. If you really want to get rid of a yeast infection that you are experiencing, you need to get back to the basics of eating, including plenty of raw fruits and vegetables.
Pasta - Even though many of us enjoy eating pasta regularly, you should avoid eating it whenever you are experiencing a yeast infection. Most of the pasta that we eat is made from refined flour and water. This refined flour can cause problems in our body, including feeding the yeast infection that we are experiencing.
Mushrooms - Even though not all of us eat mushrooms, it is certainly high up on the list of things that we should not be eating if we have a yeast infection. Make sure you avoid them and you will have better success with getting rid of the infection.
Avoid These Foods and Avoid Yeast Infections
Whenever most of us think of yeast, we think of food and the fact that yeast is used in order to make bread and even beer. There are certain types of yeast, however, that exist in the environment all around us and they serve a useful purpose for the most part. Unfortunately, they may also invade our bodies in large numbers if we allow our bodies to get out of balance. Typically, there is bacteria present in our body that fights off these yeast infections but if the bacteria goes away for one reason or another, the yeast is permitted to grow.
One of the easier ways for you to be able to deal with a yeast infection naturally is by eating the right kinds of foods. Let's talk a little bit about the type of foods that we should be eating, both to help keep our body in balance and some types that will fight the yeast infection directly.
If you're having a hard time with yeast infections, your diet should be as free of processed foods as possible. This is especially true of processed, white sugar which the yeast will actually thrive on. If you take away things that they yeast enjoys, you're taking away its ability to breed. You should also make sure that most of the food you're eating brings your body into an alkaline environment because a yeast infection cannot grow outside of an acidic environment.
One of the best natural cures for yeast infections is yogurt. You should be eating yogurt every day, even if you're not currently suffering from a yeast infection. The problem is, most of us tend to eat yogurt that is found on the shelves at most grocery stores but this is typically full of too much sugar. You need to eat natural yogurt without any sugar added and this will help to bring your intestinal flora and bacteria levels up in your body so that it can naturally defend against any yeast that happens to be present.
For the most part, if you're eating a healthy diet that consists of a lot of raw fruits and vegetables, you should be able to easily fight off any of these yeast infections that may occur. Once you're able to successfully get rid of them, make sure that you continue eating in this way in order to prevent them from happening in the future.
Choosing the Right Clothing for Yeast Infections
We all have to make choices every day and some of those choices can really affect our health, even though we may not realize it. Are you having a difficult time with yeast infections? You might be surprised to learn that it could be your clothing that is causing these problems. Although these are only general guidelines that you should follow, they can certainly promote yeast infections if you are wearing the wrong types of clothing. Here are some suggestions that can help you to overcome the problem in some way or another.
The first thing that you should avoid is wearing the wrong kind of underwear. If you're wearing underwear that is made from a material that does not breathe easily, it is not going to allow your skin to breathe and to get rid of the yeast that may be present. Whenever you're choosing the type of underwear that you're wearing, make sure that you choose one with a cotton crotch as this will help to whisk away any moisture that may be present.
Along with that, pantyhose are one of the top culprits as far as yeast infections are concerned. These tend to be rather tight which keeps the moisture in place, providing a prime environment for the yeast to grow. Along with that, they also don't breathe very well and many of them do not contain the right type of crotch to make sure that the area is as dry as possible. If you must wear pantyhose because of work, opt for the type that only goes up as high as you need them to go.
One final thing that you might want to try avoiding are tight fitting clothing of any sort. Even though you may think that it looks good, and more than likely it does, it's still gives the yeast an opportunity to grow because it keeps the moisture in place. You might be surprised to learn that tight fitting clothing not only promotes yeast infections in the genital area, it also may create an environment in which yeast and grow in other areas of the body, such as underneath the breasts.
The best thing that you can do if you're having a difficult time with yeast infections is to wear clothing that is not too tight fitting and that breathes easily. Although it is a small step, it is one that you can take toward not having a problem with yeast infections any longer.
Eat the Right Things and Cure Your Yeast Infection
It doesn't matter what you were talking about in nature, you always need to make sure that everything is balanced. As long as things are balance, they seem to work quite well but whenever the balance is interrupted, thats when problems happen. A good example of this is whenever we have an imbalance in our body and we end up losing some of the good bacteria that is present there. This can cause a number of difficult problems for us one of the first that you will recognize is that you will be getting yeast infections more often.
If this is becoming a problem for you, there are several different things that you can do in order to overcome the problem once and for all. One of the best things that you can do for yourself, however, is to eat the proper kinds of foods as this will help to restore the balance in your body and to get rid of the yeast infection naturally. Although you do have some options as far as the type of foods you can eat, here are some general guidelines that you should always follow.
First of all, you should make sure that your body is alkaline because yeast thrives in an acidic environment. Many of the foods that are currently available at the market that people tend to eat are highly acidic and not only does this cause yeast infections, it causes a number of different diseases. Get a list of foods which are alkaline in nature and begin eating those foods on a regular basis. You should begin to see a difference within a short period of time.
Another thing that you can do is to get rid of all of the refined foods that you are eating and get back to some of the basics. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables in your diet is an excellent way for you to restore your balance, particularly if you eat them in their raw form. Try this for a couple of weeks and you will not only see a difference in your yeast infections, you will see a difference in your overall health.
Finally, you should make sure that you are drinking plenty of water every day. Keeping yourself hydrated is an excellent way to keep your body in balance and this will also fight off any yeast infections that you may be experiencing.

What You Need To Know About Natural Allergy Treatments
One of the biggest issues you have to deal with when it comes to medications is their side effects. Sure, the medication may work, but you may also feel tired or suffer from other side effects. This makes the medication as hard to deal with as the allergies themselves. This is why you may want to consider using a natural allergy treatment. This article will be taking a look at the ways you can treat allergy issues in the most natural of ways.
One of the more powerful natural remedies is something called Quercetin. Quercetin is found in plants. The plants use the Quercetin antioxidant as a way to fight off stress from pollution. I'm not going to go into the details of how this works, but it is very effective for fighting off allergies. The best time to use this great remedy is several weeks before allergy season hits. The vast majority of people will see a nice improvement in their allergy conditions from taking this.
For those who have skin allergies you will find that camomile to be the perfect remedy. It contains all sorts of anti-allergenic properties that make it perfect for curing skin allergies. There is one big problem with camomile. It is unfortunte that camomile comes from ragweed. So if you have hayfever, then you are best to avoid using this on any skin allergies. Everyone else will find it it hard to beat.
Two of my personal favorites for dealing with allergies and sinus problems is garlic and onion. Both of these products contain properties that remedy allergy conditions. You can actually smell these veggies to help loosen your sinuses. They may not smell the best, but they can help cure your allergy problems. For skin allergies you may even try rubbing them on the infected areas.
Another really effective vegetable for fighting allergies is horseradish. I don't particularly like the taste, but it is very effective. Many people have found horseradish to help clear their sinuses. What you need to do is eat a spoonful everyday until your allergies go away. You may even want to consider eating some regularly to help keep your allergies at bay.
There certainly are many other natural treatments you can try. The ones I have listed here should give you a good start to curing your allergy problems. For more tips you should consider learning all the allergy facts.

Choose the Right Yogurt to Cure Yeast Infections
Do you have a problem with yeast infections? Perhaps this is your first one and if that is the case, you're in a perfect position to be able to cure the problem once and for all. For those of us that have been dealing with yeast infections for quite some time, we realize that once they become chronic, they can be quite difficult to handle. Although there are several different natural cures that can be used in order to get rid of yeast infections, one of the best ones for you to use is yogurt. Here is a little bit about the type of yogurt that you should use to get rid of yeast infections and how you should use it.
First of, you should avoid the store-bought yogurt that typically lines the shelves of almost every grocery store. Although it does contain some yogurt cultures to a certain extent, it also contains something that is going to feed the yeast that is thriving within your body. The sugar that is added to store-bought yogurt is going to counteract any good effects that eating the yogurt is going to have for you. That is why you should avoid this type of product at all cost.
I find that there are several different types of natural yogurt that are available at many health food stores. These are an excellent choice, especially if they are cultured from soy milk or some other type of product as their base. It is also possible for you to make your own yogurt and this is an excellent choice as well. The real key is that you want the natural cultures to be able to replace some of them bacteria that may be missing from your body and encourage it to re-grow again. This will allow the balance to return that is now missing inside of you.
One of the best ways for you to use yogurt in order to cure a yeast infection is to eat it every day. It will encourage intestinal flora that will help to bring your body into a natural balance and to improve your overall health. It is also possible for you to use it topically, either putting it on a tampon and inserting it or spreading it on the area where the yeast infection is occurring. One word of warning, however, you want to make sure that you don't leave the yogurt on too long or it may become an irritant as well.

Applying Bronchial Asthma Breathing Exercises in Times of Crisis
When a person breathes commonly, their diaphragm will move in a descending way at the time of inhalation and in an rising direction when breathing out happens.
Nevertheless, in the instance of an asthma sufferer the breathing diverts from the assumed course and becomes unnatural since just the topmost percentage of the chest is in use and this leads to affected breathing for which programs such as bronchial asthma respiration drills need to be used.
Feeble Chest Muscles
Even due to typical maturing, a person’s chest muscles will start to soften and the muscles might not be conditioned to use in the best workable way. When an bronchial asthma onset happens, these chest muscles have to work in overtime because of a bottleneck in the air passageways. To prevent these unwanted conditions, it is a necessity that the bronchial asthma patient memorizes exercises for asthma since exclusively such workouts will be able to assist in building the chest muscles up and bring them back to proper shape.
Essentially, asthma attack respiring practices are aimed at helping the chest muscles to loosen up in spite of having to work overtime. They are also efficient in instructing asthmatics how not to employ chest muscles to respire and alternately, utilise the muscles in the stomach as well as the diaphragm. Without being trained about bronchial asthma respiration practices, an asthmatic patient would not be able to know the proper way of breathing and will exercise the incorrect thing like breathing out rather than breathing in.
In fact, asthma breathing exercises will facilitate the asthmatic patient to empty out their whole chest through lifting their midriff by using their abdominal muscles as well as lower chest area. If these asthma attack breathing practices are executed the right way, it could even avail in preventing the next asthma attack.
Correctly practiced, asthma breathing exercises will also aid an asthmatic to reverse their asthmatic condition. With frequent practice of these workouts, the body likewise starts to imitate the sought-after pattern of breathing and may then even take unconscious steps to relieve the situation.
To gain the most out of these bronchial asthma breathing exercises, it is essential to also verify that while breathing out, you do so slowly and not attempt to be hasty as that could result in unwished-for effects such as {wheezing} as well as {more} discomfort.
What’s more, you can likewise try out certain exercises for asthma which will help the asthmatic condition rather than impede typical breathing. Swimming is favored over running while outdoors since when swimming, a person receives a lot of warm as well as humid air that is needful to prevent bronchial asthma attacks.
Even when practicing bronchial asthma respiration drills, you need to be mindful not to exaggerate the exercises since that could exert your body beyond its true capacity and cause further impairment rather than curb and even prevent impairment.

What in the world is Allergy?
Definition and causes
Allergy is a hypersensitivity to various substances. This means that an allergic person reacts to things in the environment, which other people usually do not respond to. Usually you are allergic to things that you are in close contact with in everyday life. In principle, one can be allergic to everything, but there are certain things that are more frequently causing allergic reactions. These are called allergens and include:
- Pollen
- Food products (especially milk, nuts and apples)
- Insektstik
- Skæl fur animals
- Husstøvmider
- Medicinal Products (penicillin, patch, iodine)
- Nickel
Allergy due to the body's immune system overreagerer to substances that are usually harmless (allergens). The immune system prepared to respond to bacteria and viruses, so to be protected against the disease. By allergy, there has been an error, so that the immune system reacts to harmless substances in the environment.
Symptoms of allergies
Allergies may prove in many ways, but most often seen as:
- Hay Fever
- Asthma
- Eczema
An allergic reaction can occur immediately after exposure to an allergen (immediate response) or can be hours to days after exposure (late-response). They have most often symptoms from the part of the body comes in contact with the allergen. In rare cases can cause a serious life-threatening condition known as anaphylactic shock . Her reaction by the body's blood vessels to expand, so that blood pressure drops. Subsequently, the bodies in the worst case not provided with enough oxygen, so their function is terminated.
Precautions and diagnosis
If you are experiencing the above symptoms, you should go to his own doctor to be benefits for allergies. So far as is possible, should avoid contact with the allergen that trigger symptoms. If you have experienced anaphylactic shock , Should be extra careful not to be exposed to the allergen, and if, for example. are allergic to bee-sting, it is the summer always have a syringe of adrenaline (an EpiPen).
The diagnosis can sometimes be made based on the typical medical history. There may also make a priktest, which caused drops of the most common allergens on the skin of underarmen. Then pricked a small hole in the skin, where the drops are. This may cause a little bit of allergen in the skin. If you are allergic to one of the allergens, will be a temporary itching, redness and a little swelling of the skin, where dråben was. There may also take blood samples to detect eczema Prepare often a lappetest where smøres anoint with the most common allergens on the skin of the back. Then put a patch (a "rag"), and after three days, it looks at the skin on their backs to see if the emergence of allergic reactions by some of the different anoint.
Treatment of Allergy
Stay away from exposing yourself to your allergies as much as possible. If this is impossible, to obtain medicine to alleviate the symptoms. These are usually on different forms of antihistamine or binyrebarkhormon. If you have very severe symptoms, one can consider a allergivaccination in which the body's immune system slowly weaned not to react to the allergen. However, it is a very lengthy treatment, which typically goods from 3 to 5 years, and there is no guarantee that the treatment anaphylactic shock
Select and complications
Many suffer from allergies during childhood, but the allergies fade out over time. In other seen an outbreak of symptoms in adulthood, after which the symptoms after a period of years are often lenient. If you have hay fever. It has been 2-3 times greater risk of also developing asthma.
Prevention of allergy
Allergies are to some extent inherited, so that a child of parents with allergies are more likely to develop allergies than children, where parents do not have allergies. Breast-feeding your child during the first half year of its life, may reduce the risk of developing an allergy to cows milk. If breast-feeding is not possible, there are alternatives. The child should not have food contaning a lot of gluten (for example. Bread) before it is 6 months old, there is greater risk for development coeliac disease (glutenintolerance, gluten intolerance) . There is also a greater risk that the child develops an allergy, if it is exposed to tobacco smoke or fur animals in the first year of life. Finally, it is important that there is a good indoor climate in the dwelling.

Allergy Treatment: Don’t Let Allergens Enter Your Body
If your nose begin to become congested and persistently runs or your sinuses begins to itch uncontrollably and you think the condition to be a cold, it is time to consider using a treatment because these signs point to be allergy symptoms. Certainly, you'll first need to identify the cause and type of allergy that you are suffering from, and could involve a skin test that makes your skin is scratched and then some grass or Pollen is dabbed over it to see if your skin reacts or not.
It goes without saying that an effective allergy treatment can only begin after the type and cause of the allergy has been identified. An allergy, when it develops, usually renders the immune system ineffective and so the right allergy treatment must therefore help the immune system become strong enough to fight the allergy.
Often, an allergy treatment will require that the patient is injected with something that includes anti-bodies which, in turn, will help to reinforce the immune system and so destroy the allergens. However, appropriate allergy treatment for a person really depends on quite a few factors which need to be discussed by you with your doctor. There is however no denying the fact that antihistamines are the most commonly used in allergy treatments and in particular you may be prescribed Claritin which is very effective in treating symptoms of allergies.
In the case of an allergy treatment is to treat congested nose and sinuses that you will meet a number of options. The disadvantage of these types of treatment is that you will also need to worry about side effects. Other than drugs to treat your allergies, you can also make a few simple steps to prevent allergies from developing. For example, you can ensure that your house is always very clean and there is no dust is left on furniture, additionally, you must keep your refrigerator spotlessly clean and remove all signs of mold as well as your bathroom and you must also make sure that your house is kept free of fungus, dust and dirt
Without any doubt prevention of the possibility of inhaling allergens is the best allergy treatment because if you don’t breathe allergens you won’t develop an allergy. Some people suffer from allergies to pets and for them there are many straightforward but helpful pet allergy treatments available to prevent a resurgence of pet ,actually, many of these treatments are natural and therefore safe to use.
Even if you must vacuum, dust, wash and sweep up every corner of your home every day you should not shirk for performing these tasks for the reason that ensuring an allergen-free home is the best way to prevent allergies.

Why Allergic Sufferers Need Allergy Relief Air Purifiers
Allergies are a distressing condition and there are plenty of people who suffer from them. Sneezing, watery, puffy eyes are just two of the more common symptoms of a allergy sufferer but many have problems breathing as well. They may cause watery puffy eyes, fits of sneezing and a runny or stuffed up nose where breathing can become difficult. Though this can affect the sufferers any time of the year, mostly it appears during the spring season when it is time for the flowers to bloom and the air is filled with free pollen. A lot also has to do with the location where you live as some areas contain more of these pollutants than others. This article shares some thoughts on about allergy relief air purifiers and how they can be a helpful device to overcome your allergy.
Allergies can not only be taken outside and more often than not, your home is much more prone to contaminants than anywhere else therefore using an air purifier at home can really be of use. We are continuously breathing an air of the same sort repetitively from our homes that can be more of like considered as enclosed spaces. Things like dust and dust mites are commonly found in the home and they can set off an attack very quickly. The filtering of the air that you breathe and the removal of unwanted particles which can be the cause of attacks are just what an allergy relief air purifier can do.
Since most of the allergy relief air purifiers are made in portable form, you can use it in any room and carry it along anywhere in the house as all it needs is to be plugged to an outlet. Such a unit can not only eradicate dust and dust mites it can even abolish some odors which trigger attacks like those from perfumes and air fresheners. Since smoke or smoke smells can also trigger attacks, these units also see to it that they lock in those pollutants so that involuntary exposure to such smells can be avoided. An allergy attack can't be avoided especially if you are near a person who smokes as the smell is still within that person lingering through his or her hair, hands and clothes which can be enough to trigger an attack. The air purifier will draw the smoke or smoke smell in to its filtering system and trap it there, releasing only good clean oxygen for you to breathe in.
There is no problem in procuring air purifiers as they are abundantly available in a wide selection of outlets like home improvement stores or stores which stock clothes, groceries and other types of home improvement items. Several types of units are available in the market with many made specifically for domestic use. The utilization of these units can be limited to room use only, all over the house and can even be placed inside your car or truck as well as units that you can wear around your neck that comes in necklace-like forms making it possible to bring it along so that you may only breathe filtered air even if you're going to other places. Have you ever seen an allergy relief air purifier inside a cat container to eradicate feline smell? Well, I have.
Although clean air is important for allergic sufferers, so is the the cleanliness of your home. Home that is filled with dirt and dust can trigger allergic attack. Getting a quality vacuum cleaner can help to ensure your home free from debris, dust, and dirt. But how often can you clean your home if you are a busy person? Thanks to robotic technology today, you've Roomba 580. It has sensors that help this unique home equipment to pick up debris and dirt. If you want to know more about this AI vacuum cleaner, check out iRobot Roomba 580.

Mental Problems & Unsuspected Allergens
This fact will undoubtedly come as a surprise to most people, including most medical doctors.
Most mental disease is caused by unsuspected brain allergies!
Dr Marshall Mandell in the early 80’s made this point very clear. He appeared on a Phil Donahue TV program with videos of persons with mental problems dramatically worsened by a drop or less of some allergen. He was the first to name such as “brain allergies”.
In 1982, Dr Von Hilsheimer introduced the first End-Point-Titration allergy testing into Florida, and I worked with him at an allergy clinic in Orlando. We amazed several MD allergists in that clinic with depression and many other cases being solved.
I studied allergy/sensitivity extensively during this time. I found a list of mental diseases caused by allergens that surprised me.My previous experience and learning in psychology had never prepared me for such. I found the following in a “standard” text on allergies as “Mental Symptoms”. It surprised me, and probably will you.
Schizophrenia, depression, hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), Emotional instability or hypersensitivity, Insomnia, Chronic fatigue, crying jags, stuttering, excessive daydreaming, anxiety, panic attacks, withdrawn, listless, seizures, aggressive behavior, anger, irritability, silly, tense, restless, excited, agitated, behavior problems in children, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, poor comprehension, confusion, impaired attention, obsessive thoughts, compulsive behavior, feelings of unreality, disorientation, false beliefs or delusions, hallucinations, suicidal, feel like hurting self.
While giving a 4 day orthomolecular seminar in Soviet Georgia in 2000, I was introduced to the latest EEG biofeedback therapy of raising the amplitude of the brain waves just above Alpha, in the range of 12-15 Hz. (later named the SMR brain wave) In the discussion, I remembered that list of mental diseases caused by allergens. This led me to propose my theory “Raising the SMR brain wave somehow changed the affect of allergens on the brain. To date, no other theory fits the data.
I started the first leasing of EEG BF equipment for home use when I returned home. This did not endear me to the clinicians who were charging up to $250 per half hour for the service. The actual operation is so simple that anyone with a high school education can easily learn how to do it, although the learned clinicians will (as usual) protest the necessity of a professional approach. (This in spite of no record of harm being done to anyone, and no license being required to practice this simple therapy.)
Dr Jiri Tyrl of the Czech Biofeedback Society listed papers in 2001 about EEG biofeedback that showed the following mental diseases as being either cured or greatly improved by this feedback:
Epilepsy; ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Academic-Cognitive Enhancement; Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Sleep Disorders, Depression, Hemispheric Asymmetry, Anger, Addictive Disorders, Brain Injury, Stroke, Coma, Spasticity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Dysfunctions, Headache and other Pain, Schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Parkinson's Dystonia, Tourette's Syndrome, Autism; Cognitive Decline with Aging, Asthma Hypertension Dissociative Disorders, Creativity, Optimal Functioning, Criminal Recidivism.
Compare the two lists, and the parallels are too much to be coincidental. It was obvious to me that allergens were causes of much more mental disease than had been suspected, and EEG biofeedback which raised this particular brain wave was solving these allergens. (Both my wife and I have either “cured” or alleviated lifelong allergies.)
In 2004, one of those comic light bulbs went on above my head, and I realized that it should be possible to do the same thing - namely raise the SMR brain wave - by use of subliminal messaging.
I put out a call for volunteers, and got over 20, who sent me weekly emails for 4 weeks. Most were various types of ADD/ADHD, with a few depressives and insomniacs mixed in. The results definitely showed that both my allergen theory and my subliminal theory were correct.
In 6 more volunteer tests since that time, we have shown that this therapy (named Neuroliminal Training) is at least as effective as EEG Biofeedback (aka Neurofeedback) for ADD/ADHD, depression, insomnia, autism, and epilepsy.
In all these tests, we found lots of evidence that my theory of raising SMR solves allergies.Twin boys slept in the same room in one case. One boy was ADHD, and he was "cured" in 8 weeks. The other had ragweed hay fever, and that was cured in the same time.NT does either cure or alleviate most allergies as this and many other testimonials and comments clearly show.or food sensitivities,
We’re going even further with a current test that includes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Depression of all types, etc. This test will end in January 2009.

The Factors Involved Of Children Living With Food Allergies
A food allergy is a very scary allergic reaction to a particular item of food. Food allergies are usually not diagnosed until a child has been exposed to the allergen and experienced an adverse reaction. Parents of children who have a food allergy know how scary and unpredictable the problem can be. Often our children are exposed to food items that have ingredients they are not completely aware of, thus exposing them to the food they are allergic to.
Food allergies, as opposed to food sensitivities, occur in the immune system. A true allergy to a food results in a violent, life-threatening reaction caused by the immune system attacking the offending protein as it enters the body and bloodstream. The immune system produces an antibody called IgE, which seeks out and bonds with the protein of the food that the child is allergic to. The stead increase of IgE proteins contained in the blood stream releases a flood of chemicals that may induce itching, fever, swelling, vomiting, fever, difficulty with their breathing, as well as numerous other types of symptomes, and might eventually lead to the systems of their body to shut down.
Most food allergies appear before a child reaches three years of life. If, however, a child is never exposed to a certain food that they have an allergy to in the toddler years, they might show an allergic reaction later in life. Most common allergens include wheat, milk, nuts, soy, and eggs. In fact, those foods incorporate over ninety percent of the allergies children face.
Allergies and sensitivities to foods are two different ideas. Sensitivities to foods are far less severe and the reactions do not occur immediately. It can be harder to detect sensitivities to foods because if a person eats an entire meal, it will not always be apparent as to what food caused the reaction. However, allergies are different. With allergies, a reaction takes place every time within seconds of ingesting the food allergen.
Although some food allergies cause problems for a lifetime, many of them can be outgrown.
If you are concerned that your child may have a food allergy, it is crucial to have them screened through the use of an allergy skin test. This will eliminate any doubt in your mind about whether or not there is allergy present. Once diagnosed, inform all caretakers, family, and friends about the allergy, and teach your child to ask what is in the foods that they are offered. The best way to deal with allergies in children is to completely avoid the foods that cause the reaction.
It is not practical or realistic to try to shield a child from harmful foods all the time. Although you might be able to give your child only those foods that they are not allergic to, there is always the potential that they will eat an offending product when you are not around. Be certain that you and your child's caregivers always have access to medicine that will neutralize their allergic reaction. In most cases, this will be a special medical tool that administers epinephrine, otherwise known as adrenaline. Afterwards, it is vital for you child to receive quick medical attention.

Leaning How To Control Your Child's Asthma
Asthma is an affliction that many children are victims of. Many parents do not fully understand the disease, its symptoms, or its effects. As a result, asthma attacks can cause a parent to panic and have an overwhelming feeling of vulnerability. Consequently, this often only serves to make the child panic which makes the asthma attack even more debilitating.
Part of the reason that asthma is so traumatic is because it is often not diagnosed until after the child has the first attack. Once diagnosed, however, there are many medications and treatments that can help an attack after it begins. Of course, most parents would say that they would rather the attack never happens. There are many ways that parents can help prevent asthma attacks in their children.
Once you realize that your child has asthma, start keeping a diary of what brings on the attacks. If you can find the things that trigger the breathing difficulties, you can try to avoid exposing your child to those triggers, thus keeping the asthma at bay. When you start to notice a pattern, talk to your child's doctor about the things that you think are causing the problems.
Cleaning up your living environment is an important factor in helping to control your child's breathing problems. Anything in your home that collects dust should be removed. This includes heavy drapery, thick carpets and stuffed toys. If your child has stuffed animals she is attached to, wash them from time to time to control the dust build up. Mattresses should be kept in allergy proof plastic covers, as they tend to hold large amounts of dust. Consider vacuuming your mattresses once a month.
For severe asthma difficulties, you may need to eliminate the pets in your home, or consider a pet that does not have fur. Having fish as aquatic animal are a great additional option for children who are asthmatic. There are certain breeds of dogs that are less likely to trigger asthma and allergies, such as poodles, so consider these options if your children enjoy having pets around.
Mold is a major trigger for asthma. Keeping your home free from mold by keeping the humidity low will help your child's asthma. If you have a damp basement, try to keep your child out of the basement as much as possible. Make sure you don't allow anybody to smoke inside of your home.
Cleaning products can cause asthma symptoms to worsen, so consider cleaning when your child is at school or at a friend's house. This includes vacuuming. Vacuuming your home can stir up dust and other allergens that cause asthma attacks. Avoid using cleaning products with strong odors. Consider installing allergen filters in your furnace and air conditioners to control allergens in the air.
Keeping your child's environment as dust-free as possible is a great way to cut down on the occurrences of asthma attacks. Dust causes breathing difficulties in asthmatics. Therefore, the less dust there is in a home, the less likely your child will be to have an asthma attack. It is also vital to keep their asthma medicine in a place where you can always get to it within a matter of seconds. By doing these two things, you will decrease the chances of an asthmatic having a dangerous attack.

Unknown Allergies Cause Most Mental Problems
The following fact is a surprise to most people, including most MD's
Most mental disease is caused by unsuspected brain allergies!
This fact was illuminated for me by Dr Marshall Mandell in the early 80’s. He appeared on the Phil Donahue show, with videos of persons with mental problems caused or worsened by allergen testing. He was the first to name such as “brain allergies”. Since there are no "physical" symptoms such as hay fever, hives, etc, few people are even aware of them as a problem. I have never tested anyone without finding some allergies!
In 1982, Dr Von Hilsheimer introduced the first End-Point-Titration allergy testing into Florida, and I worked with him at an allergy clinic in Orlando. We amazed several MD allergists in that clinic with depression and many other mental problem cases being solved.
During that time, I studied allergy/sensitivity extensively.I was surprised upon finding a list of "mental" diseases in a text on allergies. None of my previous experience and learning in psychology had prepared me for such. I found the following in a “standard” text on allergies as “Mental Symptoms”. It will probably surprise you.
Schizophrenia, depression, hyperactivity (ADD/ADHD), Emotional instability or hypersensitivity, Insomnia, Chronic fatigue, crying jags, stuttering, excessive daydreaming, anxiety, panic attacks, withdrawn, listless, seizures, aggressive behavior, anger, irritability, silly, tense, restless, excited, agitated, behavior problems in children, difficulty concentrating, memory loss, poor comprehension, confusion, impaired attention, obsessive thoughts, compulsive behavior, feelings of unreality, disorientation, false beliefs or delusions, hallucinations, suicidal, feel like hurting self.
I was introduced to the latest EEG biofeedback therapy of raising the amplitude of the brain waves just above Alpha (now called SMR - 12-15 Hz) while giving a 4 day seminar to MD's in Tbilisi, Soviet Georgia. (later named the SMR brain wave) In the discussion that followed, I remembered that list of mental diseases caused by allergens. I then proposed the following theory: “Raising the SMR brain wave somehow gradually changes the affect of allergens on the brain. At present, there is no other theory to fit the data.
When I returned to the US, I started the first company to lease EEG BF equipment for home use in the US..The clinicians who were charging up to $250 per half hour weren't happy about this, and they're not too happy about this inexpensive Neuroliminal Training. The actual operation is so simple that anyone with a high school education can easily learn how to do it, although the learned clinicians will (as usual) protest the necessity of a professional approach. (This in spite of no record of harm being done to anyone, and no license being required to practice this simple therapy.)
In 2001, Dr Jiri Tyrl of the Czech Biofeedback Society listed papers about EEG biofeedback that showed the following mental diseases as being either cured or greatly improved by this feedback:
Epilepsy; ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Academic-Cognitive Enhancement; Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Sleep Disorders, Depression, Hemispheric Asymmetry, Anger, Addictive Disorders, Brain Injury, Stroke, Coma, Spasticity, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Dysfunctions, Headache and other Pain, Schizophrenia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Parkinson's Dystonia, Tourette's Syndrome, Autism; Cognitive Decline with Aging, Asthma Hypertension Dissociative Disorders, Creativity, Optimal Functioning, Criminal Recidivism.
Compare the two lists, and it's clear that the two cover virtually all mental problems. To me, that was further proof that my original theory (above) is correct.
O:ne of those comic "light bulbs" went off above my head in April 2004. I suddenly realized that it could be possible to raise the SMR brain wave using subliminal messaging.
I put out a call for volunteers, and got over 20, who sent me weekly emails for 4 weeks. Most were various types of ADD or ADHD, with a few depressives and insomniacs mixed in.Both my allergen and my subliminal usage theories were anecdotally proved as correct. An interesting fact - 3 former "failed" users of EEG Biofeedback were included in that test, and they also failed with this one.
In 6 more volunteer tests since that time, we have shown that this therapy (named Neuroliminal Training) is at least as effective as EEG Biofeedback (aka Neurofeedback) for ADD or ADHD, depression, insomnia, autism, and epilepsy.
We’re going even further with a current test that includes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, PTSD, Depression of all types, etc. This test will end in early 2009.
Dr Bate is a retired orthomolecular psychologist who invented Neuroliminal Training, a simpler and
affordable way to change brain wave amplitudes solving
ADD, ADHD, Autism, depression, insomnia, epilepsy, and more.

Why Wheat Allergy Might Kill You
Food allergies are very common. There are several different types of food allergies but a wheat allergy is one of the most common.
A wheat allergy occurs when a person suffers an adverse reaction to the protein fractions of the wheat and all or some of the other components like gluten. When suffering from a wheat allergy your allergy symptoms will be activated when food containing wheat is eaten but it can also be from inhaling flour that contains wheat which is called baker’s asthma.
Although it is not known the exact number of people who suffer from a wheat allergy it is believed from data that has been collected that is up around the 40% mark. That is a lot of the population that suffers from wheat allergy. In the baking industry it is believe that about 42% of all bakers develop baker’s asthma.
Symptoms of a wheat allergy can develop instantly or a few hours after ingesting wheat. The most common symptoms are related to the skin – eczema, itchy skin, or even hives are commonly seen.
The second most common wheat allergy symptom is related to the gastrointestinal tract with any are all of the following symptoms – nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, or diarrhea.
A wheat allergy can also affect the respiratory tract causing asthma like symptoms. And it can also cause life threatening anaphylaxis in a few unlucky individuals. The problem is many of the symptoms of a wheat allergy are caused by cross contamination from other gluten cereals like rye, barley, and oats.
For some the diagnosis of a wheat allergy is very simple. You have the same reaction every time you eat a certain food and when you remove it from your diet you no longer suffer the symptoms. Pretty straight forward right? Not always. It can be difficult to diagnosis if it is a food that you eat regularly with other foods. In these cases diagnosis usually entails a lot more.
The first step to treating your wheat allergy is to avoid all foods that contain wheat. Now that said it can be harder to do then one might think because wheat is a staple food in our diets. A wheat restricted diet creates a very restricted diet which means they may be missing out on other important nutrients. If you have children that have a wheat allergy it would be a good idea to work with a dietitian to make sure they are getting everything they need in their diet.
Sometimes children will outgrow a wheat allergy while other times they will live with it for the rest of their lives. Learning to cope can be a two part problem. First one must learn to avoid the foods that cause the symptoms and second one must learn to deal with the psychological part which our brains tend to crave most what we cannot have.
If your wheat allergy is mild you might be able to control it by reducing your wheat intake or using an over the counter medicine. And don’t forget that natural supplements can bring your body back to a healthy state and it can help energize your immune system the underlying cause of all allergies.

Tips for Treating Asthma Symptoms
Asthma is a chronic disease that affects the airways, the tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs. Asthma is a very serious and common disease, one that affects millions of people around the world. And the number of sufferers climbs continually.
Although there isn't a cure for asthma, there are a variety of ways to help prevent or relieve the condition. It can be managed to the place where they can go about their lives in a normal fashion without experiencing constant asthma symptoms.
Treating an Asthma Attack
Preventing an asthma attack is your best line of treatment. Know the circumstances that trigger your symptoms, and avoid them. Nevertheless, there are times when an asthma attack can't be stopped. This means that learning to manage your asthma symptoms is vital.
Bear in mind that not all asthma attacks are alike. Sometimes your symptoms can be much worse than at other times. During a severe attack the airways can become so constricted that they prevent your vital organs from receiving the oxygen they need. This qualifies as a medical emergency. Even death can be a result of a serious asthma attack. So if you are one of the millions of asthma sufferers you need to realize just how serious your condition is.
Medication
Medication is often the first choice among ways to deal with an asthma attack. It enables those who suffer from asthma to manage their condition and stave off an attack that could become more serious. Asthma remedies are taken either orally or inhaled as a vapor using a metered dose inhaler.
There are actually two different kinds of medication that can be used. Bronchodilators help by reducing spasms. Anti-inflammatory treatments work by reducing the inflammation in the airways. If your condition is severe, your physician might recommend that you use them both in combination.
These days there is a variety of prescription treatments that you can try:
*Accolade and Singulair, which are leukotriene inhibitors
*Serevent and Famoterol, long lasting bronchodilators, and
*Aminophylline or Theophylline.
Visit your doctor to find out if these medications are right for you, or to explore a natural cure for asthma.

Plasmacluster Ionic Air Purifier - State-of-the-art Japanese Technology Against Bird Flu
Sharp Corporation issued a seemingly ordinary press release on 27 August 2008. But I believe the information therein will one day gain global prominence! Incorporated in its ionic air purifier, the Plasmacluster Ion Technology (more on this in a later post) has just been scientifically proven to be 99.9% effective in destroying the bird flu virus known as H5N1.
With increasing regularity, the press reminds us that bird flu is the prime suspect to cause mankind's next pandemic. Pandemic sounds terrifying. It is. That’s when a highly contagious virus goes global, in a very negative sense. 50 million people may die in a global pandemic. No way, you say. But its happened before, during the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic! World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed on 5 October 2005 that the 1918 Spanish flu was caused by H1N1, a bird flu virus.
PANIC STATIONS! PANIC STATIONS?
Not now. WHO statistics (updated up to 10 Sep 2008) tracing back to 1996 when the H5N1 virus first surfaced in China shows a relatively low death toll of 245. So what’s the fuss? The greatest nightmare for scientists monitoring the bird flu virus is to see it attain human-to-human transmission capability. There has been only one probable case of human-to-human transmission recorded in Thailand in September 2004. If indeed the much-feared virus mutation takes place, you can expect pandemonium on a global scale.
Like other countries, Singapore (where I live) is conscientiously preparing for the worse (more on this in a later post). At our individual level, we should start doing some homework too.
Ok, so what has the Sharp ionic air purifier to do with all this. Is it not just another ordinary ionic air purifier? Yes, because it takes care of the usual pollutants (dust, dirt, smoke, dander, pollen, cuisine odors, pet odors, allergens etc) that contaminate the air that we breathe and live in. But if we can get protection from all these and more in one ionic air purifier, especially one that is a tested defense shield against a potentially deadly virus, why not? The complete package is promised in Sharp's Plasmacluster Ion Air Purifier.
If you’re value-conscious like me, the obvious question would be “yes, that makes a whole lot of sense but at what cost”? At no extra cost, Sharp claims! Sharp asserts that it is cheaper than any other ordinary ionic air purifier when measured over 5 years. Now, that’s value for money! How is it possible in this nothing-is-for-free world?
Yes, its possible, claims Sharp. For instance, in its Plasmacluster Ionic Air Purifier Model FP-N40CX, Sharp contends that it is undoubtedly better value for money as there is no filter replacement costs for the first 5 years. At US$399, the Sharp model compares favourably against a typical competitor's ionic air purifier that may cost US$160 upfront but over 5 years cost a total of US$560 due to annual filter replacement costs of US$100 each.
Feedback on relevant data on Sharp or its competitors will be very much appreciated. Do let me know if you have recent actual data.
My next move would be to seriously investigate the Sharp Plasmacluster Ion Technology. Now is the time to research, while bird flu is still not quite at pandemic proportions.
Today is the day to get started. Experience is a good teacher. Recall the last disaster movie when you saw people with terror in their eyes, many with the famed N95 face mask covering their noses as they commute to work. But it was no movie but real life in motion in many Asian cities. Those who could not find the scarce N95 face mask could only pray that they were not the next victim of the near-pandemic scenario that swept across Asia. In case you have not heard, the year was 2003. The SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) virus originated in Asia and infected 8,096 people around the world, resulting in 774 fatalities. We all know that being well prepared is half the battle won.
Watch this space as we track exciting developments in our pursuit of safe, pure and clean air with nothing more than an ionic air purifier.

What You Need to Know Before Choosing Your Allergy Relief Air Purifier
Life for a person suffering from an allergy can become a living hell. The goal, therefore, is to find suitable methods to overcome the symptoms. Your doctor will usually recommend medications which can be effective in helping control the symptoms. However, if the allergy is caused by the environment, including dust in the air and on your furniture, then installing an allergy relief air purifier makes perfect sense.
An allergy relief air purifier is an efficient means of removing virtually every allergen present in the air, and this in turn ensures better health as well as allergy-free living.
In a modern home there are dozens of allergy inducing things. Kitty litter dust, tobacco smoke, indoor pesticides and aerosols, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) found in items like paint, varnish, cleaning supplies, disinfectants, glues and adhesives in carpeting and furniture. Ingredients such as benzene, chloride, formaldehyde, and ethylene can all irritate the eyes, nose, throat and airways.
There are facts to consider before buying an air purifier.
Rather than act on impulse it is better to carefully assess the pros and cons of various models and makes. Make sure that you consider the size of your home or the room in which you want to install this device. It is also necessary to understand the process by which an allergy relief air purifier works. Other factors worth taking into account include recurring costs as well as total cost and the efficiency of the purifier.
Before buying your allergy relief air purifier, measure the room you wish to clean. To ensure that the calculations are correct, you should sketch the room out on paper and write the measurements on each part of the sketch. Do not forget the height of the room. By knowing the size of the room, the sales person can determine which capacity of allergy relief air purifier will suit your needs the best.
There are 3 common methods used.
(1) Carbon Filters - mainly for odours (animal dander as well)
(2) Electrostatic Filters - no replacement filters (just clean it)
(3) HEPA Filters - can remove 99.97% of particles (but filters need replacing)
Thus, the decision is usually between the Electrostatic and the HEPA methods. You should also verify if there are any other maintenance costs.
Before you rush off to the store, there is one more fact you should ask the sales person about. What is the unit's CADR, or Clean Air Delivery Rate? This industry rating has been specially designed by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturer's to help consumers know how well an air purifier actually works.
With all this info in hand, you are ready to make an informed decision, and start to have more relief from allergy symptoms.

Natural Pet Allergy Treatment Options Are Simple And Effective
Even though you may have a deep love for animals; sometimes you could develop pet allergies after coming into contact with them. Developing pet allergies even after having kept pets for several years is also common for some people. The sad part is that your love for animals can be put to severe test if you develop pet allergy and this allergy in turn will make you suffer from ill health. Some of the common symptoms of pet allergies include itchiness in the skin, wheezing as well as having eyes that water constantly.
Part With Your Pet
If pet allergy treatment does not work in controlling symptoms of your pet allergy you may even be forced into parting with your pet. However, some people are so fond of their pets that they will not contemplate giving away their pets. The chances of developing a pet allergy are greatly diminished for such people, by reducing dander and allergens in the home.
There are however a few simple natural pet allergy treatment options worth trying out. For one, you need to ensure that your pet is not allowed anywhere near your sleeping area and to also ensure that the pet is not allowed on to your furniture. These are relatively simple natural pet allergy treatment options and should be followed strictly to prevent pet allergy from affecting you.
Another natural pet allergy treatment option is to bathe the pet every week and when brushing the pet to remember and do so outside of the house and on a daily basis as well. These measures will help in reducing the quantity of dander that the pet carries within the home. Converting your pet into an outside pet and not letting him stay indoors with you is another simple natural pet allergy treatment option.
You will also need to vacuum your carpets on a daily basis and also damp out dust at least once in a week. Other than this, you need to ensure washing your hands with a good soap each time you have played with or touched your pet. Other simple pet allergy treatments include installing air purifier in the home which will remove pet dander from the air and to have wooden floors instead of carpeting the floors which will only trap the allergens and that will mean increasing the risk of pet allergies.
To prevent and treat this condition requires learning about effective allergy asthma treatment such as becoming physically active and playing sports and games, allergy asthma is very often noticed among children and also in young adults.
You may also need to consider another pet allergy treatment option and that is that when choosing your pet to look to bring home a pet that is considered allergy friendly. This means that small birds as well as small dogs are known to carry fewer quantities of dander and so will therefore pose less of a threat in regard to risk of pet allergy.

Tips to Using Allergy Medicine
Dealing with allergies can be very difficult. When left untreated they can actually result in more serious health problems as well as be uncomfortable and annoying.
When it comes to using an allergy medicine, there are a few tips that are very important to remember. Most of these tips would relate to any type of medicine, but here we are going to be discussing them specifically in relation to using an over the counter allergy medicine or any other type of allergy medicine that your doctor may prescribe.
Be Sensible
The best tip to remember when you are taking an allergy medicine is to be sensible. This sounds simple enough, right? The amount of people who use allergy medicines carelessly is pretty amazing. Many people think that these are just mild medicines and so they can take them as many times as they want, without worry.
Follow Dosage Instructions
This leads us to our next tip, which is to follow proper dosage instructions. Always take your allergy medicine as your doctor told you to, and certainly never think that just because you may take more of it, that you are going to see better results because this will not be the case at all. In fact, if anything your allergies will end up getting even worse because the allergy medicine will counteract when it is not being used properly
Educate Yourself
It is very important to educate yourself on any medication before you start taking it. Even though your own doctor may prescribe it and it may be a very safe medication, you should still be aware of what it is, what medication you are going to be putting in your body, especially if you were told to take it on a regular basis.
So that you know what to expect and can be prepared if you ever experience any of these yourself from taking the medication, you are going to need to learn specifically about the different side effects and symptoms that are commonly associated with the medication.
The best thing you can do, if you are suffering from allergies as so many people around the world do, is for you to work as a team with your doctor on this. They will be able to ensure that you are taking the right products for your allergies and that you are making proper progress.

Information on Infant Food Allergies
You may be concerned about him or her having a baby food allergy, if you have a baby. While the number of cases of food allergies has exponentially expanded in the past decade, the percentage of children and infants with food allergies is still proportionately low. It is important to become educated on the subject of infant food allergies, especially, if you or someone in your family has food allergies or your baby has been showing symptoms of a possible baby food allergy.
Baby Food Allergy Symptoms
Any baby who has a food allergy will experience symptoms of that allergy. Hives, chronic eczema and other food allergy rashes, gas, constipation, diarrhea, and inability to sleep due to excessive irritability are common symptoms among infants. These symptoms are usually not life threatening and most likely point to a mild baby food allergy. However, continuing to give your child the allergen could possibly increase the symptoms and the severity of the reaction in the future.
Excessive swelling, problems or inability to breathe, swelling of the throat, lethargy, excessive tiredness, and even death are other more serious baby food allergy symptoms. Call 9-1-1 immediately, if your child experiences any problems with breathing or swelling or even lethargy. You simply do not have time to rush your child to the hospital for help or to call your doctor as these reactions happen so quickly. Immediately seek paramedic help.
Baby Food Allergy Information
Baby food allergies are not very common, but when they do occur almost all of them are caused by eight main foods. Chicken eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts (such as walnuts, brazil nuts, and cashews), soy, milk, fish, and shellfish (such as shrimp, lobster, and crabs). If you are allergic to any of these foods, the best idea is to delay giving them to your child until he or she is at least two years old. Many allergies in children are caused by introducing the allergen too soon to a child. A child should not have peanut butter until he or she is at least one, which is a general guideline and much later if the parents or other siblings are allergic. Baby food allergies can be caused by early introduction of the food, so it only makes sense to delay introduction as long as possible.
Talk to your doctor about getting your child tested, if you are worried that your child has a baby food allergy that is exhibiting mild reactions.. For severe reactions, call 9-1-1 immediately.

Three Ways To Cure Eczema
Eczema is a skin condition where there is inflammation of the upper layers of the skin. Eczema foolhardy is one of the main symptoms of eczema along with dryness of the skin and itching. There are various types of eczema including atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, xerotic eczema and seborrhoeic eczema among several others.
There are three main ways to cure eczema. They are creams and medicines, diet change by eating more fruit and vegetables and the application of oils like neam or coconut oil.
Diet rectifications are also advised by dermatologists as some foods are capable of triggering symptoms of eczema. Also, digestive problems like acidity need to be alleviated as these too can have a bearing on eczema episodes and trigger symptoms. But did you know that one of causes of eczema is acidity in the digestive system. If you can get rid of the acidity you can get rid of the eczema. Cooked foods require enzymes for digestion and your body holds a limited supply of these enzymes. So for the sake of your skin, for high vitamin and minerals and to slow down aging, eat raw foods which are full of enzymes such as pineapple, bean sprouts and papaya. Coconut oil works very well for Infant or infant eczema on the scalp or other body areas. It soothes the rough patches or itchy rashes.
Babies, children and adults with eczema have skin that is sensitive to any or many substances such as soap, detergents, wool, make-up, cosmetics, lipstick, mascara, nail polish, shampoos, and many others. Natural eczema treatments are best to cure eczema and I have found that virgin coconut oil is the unsurpassed for healing eczema and/or dermatitis. If eczema is on your hands use coconut oil 4 or 5 times a day.
Some lotions like Calamine can be used to keep the skin cool and put a stop to dryness of the skin. Harsh soaps and detergents are to be avoided as they can irritate the skin and trigger symptoms of eczema. Also, it is greatest to avoid any kind of irritation to the skin through use of perfumes and deodorants that can increase itching and appearance of rashes.
So the advise is to look for a natural eczema cure. Anything unnatural creates more toxins and will only irritate the body and this just in the long run cause the eczema condition to become worse.

Often Unrecognized, Often Undiagnosed, Delayed Food Allergy In Children
You might find it surprising that not all allergies present with a fast-responding allergic reaction; you might find it surprising that it can be as long as three days before symptoms of an allergy present as a noteworthy reaction. All of the above are nevertheless true, and they are especially true of food allergies. The condition even has a name, despite the fact that these food allergies often go undiagnosed—Delayed Food Allergy.
How Can Food Allergy Reactions Be Delayed?
Food molecules begin to be absorbed when they enter the mouth and digestive track, but they also continue to be broken down as food moves through the body.Meaning that some allergens found in foods will not be in a form that can be harmful until after some processing has occurred; it also means that some allergens will not build up to an intolerable level until after a time of processing. All of this processing can take a fair amount of time, and delayed food allergy in children may not present symptoms for some time; it can take a few hours, or as long as twelve hours or three days for a delayed food allergy reaction in a child to show up.
So Many Symptoms, So Easily Mistaken
It's fairly easy to figure out that a child has an allergy to a food when the symptoms come on fast and present obviously; but it's a much different story when a food allergy reaction is delayed.
A sudden-onset food allergy reaction will normally present with itching of the face, throat, or mouth, and may also cause hives and swelling.
These symptoms may also be present when there is delayed food allergy in children, but it may take hours before they occur. More commonly, though, the symptoms of delayed food allergy in children are those that can easily pass for something other than an allergy, and that is why delayed food allergy in children is so often left undiagnosed. The symptoms that are often missed in a food allergy in children include:
• Stomach upset
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
Cramps and abdominal pain
• Constipation
• Congestion
• Headache
• Hyperactivity
• Mood changes
• Muscle or joint pain
• Gastrointestinal disease or condition
Obviously, each of these are symptoms that can easily be attributed to a wide variety of allergies and illnesses. When other allergies cannot be found, or symptoms seem to coincidentally come on after certain foods are eaten, it might be wise to start considering the possibility of delayed food allergy in children.
In truth, many delayed food allergies in children fall more easily into the category of food intolerance rather than food allergy because there is no association with the allergy immune antibody IgE, the antibody that classically defines a reaction as an allergy. The difference is really worth noting only for the sake of immunotherapy and the selection of medications. It is worth exploring for some children, but as treatment of food allergies and intolerances relies more heavily on avoidance of offensive foods, identifying the trigger of a delayed food allergy in a child is often enough.
Symptoms So Easily Missed, Why Do They Matter?
It stands to reason that if something is not causing much of a notable problem, it's really not much of a concern at all; but that is not really the case in regards to delayed food allergy in children. As mentioned above, knowing that there is a problem with a delayed food allergy in a child and finding out what the source of the allergy is is imperative to management of the allergy.
Management of delayed food allergy in children is important because no child should live their life in pain or discomfort when there is another option. Couple this with the fact that delayed food allergy in children may be causing chronic and secondary conditions such as asthma, and you have some very good reasons to explore the possibility of delayed food allergy in children.

Wondering If You Need An Air Purifier?
It is estimated that each year millions of Americans think about purchasing an air purifier for their home or their business. Are you one of those individuals? If so, have you purchased an air purifier yet? Unfortunately, a large number of individuals think about purchasing an air purifier, but not everyone ends up making that purchase. One of the reasons for that is because many individuals wonder whether or not they really need one.
When it comes to owning an air purifier, anyone can own one. You do not necessarily have to meet certain criteria to be able to benefit from the use of an air purifier. Honestly, you could just be someone who is looking to breathe clean air. If that is the case, you could definitely benefit from the purchase of an air purifier. Despite the fact that some individuals have no set reason for wanting or needing an air purifier, there are others who do. If you find yourself one of these individuals, as described below, you may want to seriously think about purchasing an air purifier for your home or your business.
Air purifiers work to clean the air. They do this by preventing harmful particles from passing through their collection grids or filters. These particles may even include dust particles. For that reason, if you have allergies associated with dust, you may very well find that an air purifier works to remove or completely eliminate your allergies symptoms. In turn, this may make your days and nights more pleasant and enjoyable.
In addition to reducing allergies associated with dust, air purifiers can also help those with allergies that are related pets. You will find that multiple air purifiers not only trap pet hair, but they also trap the air particles created by pet droppings. These dangerous particles are not only harmful to those who have a wheat allergy, but to everyone else who is in the home. In addition to eliminating particles created by pets in the home, you could also use an air purifier if you have a business that is centered on pets. These types of businesses include pet grooming shops and vet offices.
You may also want to think about purchasing an air purifier, especially if you have young children at home. Children tend to be more susceptible to illness. With cleaner air, your child’s health may improve by a ton. In addition to being used in traditional homes, you may also want to purchase an air purifier if you run or operate a daycare center. An air purifier may not only improve your health, but the health of all of your children. Essentially, this will make for happier and healthier children, which is extremely important when running a daycare business.
An air purifier may also be ideal for those who are smokers. Even if you are not a smoker, there may be someone inside your home who is. If this is the case, you will want to seriously consider purchasing an air purifier. Most air purifiers, especially those designed specifically for smoking households, may help to reduce secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke is bad for everyone, but it is especially bad for children. Of course, you will want to try and not smoke around your children, but if you do, you will want to purchase an air purifier, if not for your own benefit then for the sake of your children.
As mentioned above, those operating a business centered on pets or kids could benefit from the use of an air purifier; however, they are not the only types of businesses who could benefit. If you are business owner, whether you run a small retail store or an office, you may want to think about getting an air purifier. As mentioned above, air purifiers help to keep the air clean. In reality, this means that your employees will be healthier. In addition to better performance, you may also find that an air purifier helps to reduce the illnesses being spread throughout your building. In turn, this may not only result in better performing employees, but employees who end up requesting less sick time.
If the above mentioned examples describe you, in any way, you are advised to purchase an air purifier. Whether that air purifier is for your home or your business, you will reap an unlimited number of benefits to owning and using one.

Got Allergies? Get a HEPA Air Purifier
A HEPA air purifier is the ideal solution for allergy sufferers who need to breathe clean air in the home. Originally, air purifiers were intended only to rid the home of foul odors. But today, some of the other benefits you get from a HEPA air purifier include air sanitization and a reduction in bacterial or viral contamination. They remove pollutants and allergens from the air and let you breathe more easily. Additionally, a HEPA air purifier is perfectly safe for the environment, including your home and your children.
Where It All Started
The basis for the HEPA air purifier goes back as far as 1940. It was first produced at the time of the Manhattan Project, during which radioactive contaminants entered the atmosphere. Since then, those air purifiers, which had no filter systems, were modernized with more functionality to meet the demands for improved air quality in our ever evolving society.
Nowadays, you can find air purifiers in a variety of institutions like medical centers and industrial plants. The air purifiers have been embraced by a vast array of manufacturing and service industries, including pharmaceutical, aerospace, nuclear, health care and electronics.
This high functioning product boasts a 99.99% reliability rating, and has shown itself over time to be a very effective tool. Today, if you judge by the huge number of favorable air purifier reviews, the HEPA air purifier is widely valued throughout the world.
How Does it Work?
The HEPA air purifier works in three ways: interception, impaction and diffusion. Because they are made up of randomly ordered fibers, they are very efficient with regard to their filtering capabilities. They grab pollutants and all types of other unsafe elements which can cause a variety of allergies, ailments and diseases.
The first step is the capture of a stream of air within one radius. The filters trap the air and the process starts. The next step is impaction, whereby large molecules are filtered by the tiny fibers within the air cleaner. These molecules continue to get smaller as air passes through the fibers that are integral to the system. Finally, the process of diffusion takes place, caused by the air colliding with other gas particles.
A HEPA air purifier has many advantages, but the most valuable is the efficient way in which it clears the air around us of of allergens. You can't totally eliminate the contaminants in the air by using a HEPA air purifier, but you can definitely reduce them substantially.
How to Reduce Indoor Air Pollution in Your Home
Believe it or not, the air within modern houses can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air. When you also take into account that we can spend up to ninety percent of our lives indoors, the term sick building syndrome should need little explanation.
Inside pollutants such as dust, pet dander, tobacco smoke, mold spores and pollen tend to be continually recycled which ultimately means that folks who suffer from allergy induced asthma are making their complaint worse by being inside.
There are a number of symptoms associated with so called sick building syndrome including stuffy nose, watery or itchy eyes, head aches, sluggishness, difficulty in concentrating and sickness. Certain immediate effects are akin to those from colds or other viral diseases, so it is frequently hard to decide if the symptoms are a result of exposure to inside air pollution.
If you discover that the symptoms fade when you are away from home, try to discover inside air sources that may be possible causes and try to eliminate them. Fortunately, inside air pollution is one health hazard that you can do something about.
Here are seven tips for improving interior air quality in your house.
Do Not Smoke Indoors
Ideally, you should ban smoking anywhere within the home but if this is not possible, try to restrict it to one place. In our case, if friends or family, who are also smokers, visit, they are either banished to the back yard or the kitchen area. If you have an extractor fan installed in the kitchen, make a point that it is turned on and endeavour to have smokers stand reasonably close to the fan so that the fumes get sucked out.
Let the Bad Air Out
Assuming that it is not freezing cold or blowing a gale outside, let some outdoor air in by opening up your windows and doors every so often. Doing so will also do away with some of the pollutants that have built up inside your home. Make good use of kitchen and bathroom extractor fans. Clean and check the fan and any vents regularly and clean or replace any filters that may be fitted.
Get Rid of Those Chemical Cleaners
If you have ever taken the time to understand the labels on household cleaning products, the majority of them will include a warning about how harmful the chemicals are for your health or skin. Each time you use that product, fumes from whatever is in the bottle get released into the air for you to inhale. I have quite often started coughing after spraying counter tops with so called anti-bacterial cleaner. Personally, I have taken the eco-friendly route to home cleaning. Bicarbonate Of Soda, washing soda crystals, white vinegar and pure lemon juice will work wonders for most cleaning jobs. Not only do they cost less but they also do not release any toxic fumes into your home.
Clean and Dust Your Home On A Regular Basis
Although it might seem obvious to some folks, regularly hoovering your carpets and floors can go a long way in controlling airborne allergens and dust. It is said (although I have no proof) that some seventy percent of all house dust comprises of dead skin, which we humans molt all the time. Dust mites successively feed on this dead skin that falls from our bodies. They then grow and shed their own skin and it is this together with their feces that causes allergic reactions in people.
Pet Dander Triggers Allergies
If you have a family pet, they will molt dander that can spark allergic reactions and asthma. If you suspect that you or a family member may be allergic to your family pet, action needs to be taken. The ideal solution is to keep pets out of the house completely. If that is not a feasible choice, you should restrict the number of rooms that the pets are permitted to enter and definitely keep them out of the bedroom.
Reduce Indoor Air Humidity
Living in a wet clime or an area of high humidity can both result in moisture levels in the house increasing dramatically. This excessive moisture or humidity is the perfect breeding conditions for mold. For anyone with allergies, mold spores can cause as many health problems as airborne dust. Dehumidifiers can be a godsend in a humid environment since they are able to remove excess moisture from the surrounding air, thereby keeping mold and the resulting spores at bay.
Invest in a Home Air Purifier
Home air purifiers are units that clean indoor air of allergens, such as mold spores, pollen and pet dander. They are particularly useful if you or a family member suffers from allergic reactions or asthma since they can reduce airborne contaminants by a considerable amount. Air purifiers and room air cleaners are rapidly increasing in popularity because they make indoor air healthier and cleaner. However, there are several types of air purifier, some of which can actually make allergies worse rather than better.

What are the Signs of Food Allergies
Data provided by the Mayo Clinic, shows that about 2% of the adult population and about six percent of youngsters experienced some type of food allergy. When you consider that the combined adult and child population of the United States is over three hundred million, these seemingly small percentages equate to about six million grownups and 18 million minors.
Similar to other common causes of allergic reactions, food sensitivities result from an over reaction to an allergen by the immune system. Common food allergens include, but are not limited to, dairy products such as yoghurt, seafood, shellfish, peanuts and eggs.
Since the body views the intake of any of these foods as a foreign invader instead of nutrition, it releases an antibody called Immunoglobulin E or IgE for short ready to fight the perceived invader. The allergy symptoms are produced by the release of histamine, prostaglandins and some other substances which are stimulated by the antibodies.
Food allergy symptoms tend to be more extensive than those that mark some other allergic reactions. These include the possibility of watery eyes and congestion of the nasal passages. Nevertheless, they are typically accompanied with or overtaken by urticaria (itchy red welts that form on the skin), swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, wheezing, sickness and pain in the abdomen.
In extreme cases anaphylactic shock can happen. Anaphylaxis is a general (overall body) allergic reaction. It involves drastically lowered blood pressure, contracted respiratory tracts resulting in breathing difficulty, lightheadedness and some other serious symptoms. It happens very fast and if left untreated, can result in death. As many as 200 deaths each year in America are as a result of anaphylaxis.
Allergic reactions to food are on occasions localized in some people. For example, some folks will experience a tingling feeling in their mouth after eating fresh fruit or vegetables. It is thought that this type of response is caused by particular proteins similar to those that are found in ragweed pollen.
Telling the difference between a food intolerance and a food allergy requires a professional diagnosis by an allergist.
To ascertain if a person has an allergy to certain foods, the allergist will carry out one or many skin prick tests. This process involves taking a tiny extract of the suspected substance and inserting it just under the surface of the patients skin. The skin is observed for about 30 minutes to note any swelling or itching in reaction to the extract.
In certain circumstances, a blood test may be warranted. This measures the amount of IgE produced in response to consuming the suspicious food. However, this test it is not always conclusive.
Lactose intolerance, for instance, is caused by the genetically induced lack of the digestive enzyme required to safely process cow's milk. The symptoms may be similar, but this is not an allergic reaction.
The best line of defense for an individual with a food allergy is to get rid of the problematic food from their diet and surroundings. For instance, individuals with an known allergy to eggs should simply not ingest eggs or products that are made with them. Others that have a sensitivity peanuts and peanut dust can generally avoid coming into contact with it.
Because there is no cure yet for food allergies, avoidance is the best medicine. However, it is not so easy to avoid some substances, despite your best efforts and in that scenario, symptom relief is available. Antihistamines are a good option as is an Epipen or similar device. The latter contains ephinephrine which can be injected by allergy sufferers in an emergency situation caused by exposure to certain allergens. This can fend off a serious attack of anaphylaxis.
